Carpet Cleaning Apex

Apex Carpet Cleaning Questions, Answered

Everything homeowners ask us, in one place. If your question is not here, call and ask a human instead; we are happy to talk through your specific situation.

Booking & Pricing

How do I get a price?

Call or send the quote form with what needs cleaning. We give planning ranges by phone and an exact written price after a quick walk-through, always before work starts. See the Apex pricing guide for typical numbers.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes, always. Quotes are free, written, and carry no obligation.

How far in advance should I book?

A few days is usually enough. Spring pollen season and the weeks before Thanksgiving book out fastest in Apex. Water emergencies jump the line; call immediately for those.

What forms of payment do you take?

Card, check, and common digital payments, settled when the work is done and walked through. No deposits for standard residential jobs.

The Cleaning Itself

What cleaning method do you use?

Hot water extraction (steam cleaning) for deep cleans, the method carpet manufacturers specify for warranty care. Low-moisture methods where fabric or setting calls for it. Chemistry is matched to fiber and soil, never one bottle for everything.

How long does a typical appointment take?

A 3-room-plus-hallway cleaning runs about 1.5-2 hours. Whole houses run 2-4 hours depending on size, soil, and add-ons like pet treatment or tile.

Do I need to do anything before you arrive?

Pick up small items, breakables, and floor clutter, and secure pets somewhere comfortable. We handle moving standard furniture. A quick pre-vacuum helps but is not required; dry soil removal is part of our process.

Is your cleaning safe for kids and pets?

Yes. Professional products at correct dilutions, extracted back out with the soil. Carpets are safe as soon as they are dry. Tell us about crawlers and sensitive pets and we will select products accordingly.

How long until carpet is dry?

4-8 hours for carpet, 2-6 for upholstery and mattresses. HVAC fan on, ceiling fans spinning, and drying accelerates. Humid summer days sit at the long end of the range.

Stains, Clay & Apex Specifics

Can you remove red clay stains?

Usually yes. Piedmont red clay bonds to fiber with iron oxides and needs specific pre-treatment chemistry rather than scrubbing, which spreads it. It is the most Apex problem there is, and it is the one we treat most.

Which stains are permanent?

Bleach spots (color is gone, not dirty), some aged pet stains that chemically altered the dye, and certain hot beverage and medication dyes. We will tell you honestly at the walk-through which spots will vanish, improve, or stay.

Why did spots come back a week after my last cleaning (different company)?

Wicking or residue. Soil deep in the pad rises as carpet dries, and leftover detergent residue attracts new soil to the same spots. Deep extraction plus proper rinsing prevents both, and we re-treat any wicking spot.

My new-construction home has dusty, matted carpet already. Normal?

Very. Builder-grade carpet plus construction dust is the standard combination across Apex’s newer neighborhoods. A first professional deep clean at the 6-12 month mark lifts the pile and pulls the drywall dust out.

Service Area & Scheduling

Where exactly do you work?

Apex first (27502, 27523, 27539), plus Cary, Holly Springs, New Hill, Friendship, and nearby southwest Wake County. If you are just outside that ring, ask; the answer is usually yes.

Do you work weekends?

Saturdays, yes. Sundays are reserved for water emergencies.

Do you handle rentals and move-outs?

Yes. Empty-home cleanings are the most efficient version of the work, and we coordinate with landlords, property managers, and agents on access and documentation.
